Hello All,
Writing this literature review has taught me how to be more
concise and analytical in my writing. It has instilled in me the idea of using multiple ideas and sources but evaluating and linking the concepts with one
another. The organization during writing process was a little bit difficult for
me since each of my sources took different angles on the topic I had chosen. It
was also a struggle for me to pinpoint what information may be controversial
because my topic is so hands on and can have many solutions. I did find that
reviewing the literature helped me broaden my knowledge on physical attributes
that a happy and healthy work environment entails such as the kind of lighting,
the air filters, etc. I definitely still want to research further into what
kind of management styles are most beneficial to employee happiness. Though I
did locate information on a few professional factors affecting the workplace I
do not feel I fully grasped the level of influence it has the employees.
Overall, this was definitely a learning experience for me as I have never had
to do a literature review. I look forward to learning more about my topic on my
own and using the skills and tools I have learned from this course to do so!
Yes, I agree.
ReplyDeleteThis literature has definitely helped me to pay more attention to details and be more analytical! Your topic sounds really interesting. Did you find it hard to find research about it? Was it challenging to answer your research question with the information you found? I found mine to still be up in the air because I felt that a lot of research still needed to have been done in this area. I too also had a hard time with the organizational component of this review but I noticed that I am a strong free writer and that organizing my thoughts comes second. But I wish you well in all your future endeavors Saisha! Good Luck!
